My research interests:

The cognitive mechanisms of numerical and mathematical processing, and their relation to language processing.

I am studying the typical function and development of these cognitive mechanisms, the related learning disabilities, and potential methods for helping individuals with such learning disabilities.

I am using neuropsychological, cognitive, and brain imaging methods.

Short bio

My first career was a software engineer and software architect in several start-up companies. After several years in this field, I decided to switch to research and education. I obtained my PhD from Tel Aviv University under the supervision of Prof. Naama Friedmann and Prof. Stanislas Dehaene, as an Azrieli Fellow. I am now a lecturer in  Tel Aviv University's School of Education.

Projects I created

MAYIM: A battery for assessment of mathematical learning disabilities.

The Number Catcher: a computer game that lets children play with numbers, while training basic concepts of number and arithmetic.

TrajTracker: a python-based software platform for running and analyzing psychological experiments with finger tracking.
